The world of work is designed for extroverts - and yet introverted personalities can be successfully visible in it.
In this seminar, we will look at how to achieve this:
-Introversion vs. shyness vs. high sensitivity
-Introduction and differentiation between the terms
-Introversion: OCEAN model
-Shyness: lack of social skills, two-factor theory according to Asendorpf
-High sensitivity: current state of research = “intensely experienced reality”
-Personal classification of the participants
-The basics of networking & self-marketing
-Network = social capital according to Bourdieu
-Plenary collection of problems in networking and resolution of these, usually topics such as
Approaching people smartly
-How to conduct & end conversations
-Energy/stress management
-Status quo analysis of your own network
-Procedures for strategic networking and preparing for the next networking event
-Impulses for online and everyday networks and tips for maintaining contacts
Note: The online seminar is designed to be interactive. There is a varied mix of knowledge impulses, plenary discussions and time for self-reflection. A working camera and microphone are an advantage.
